Trump SLAPPED DOWN by Powerful AP LAWSUIT

Gulf of Mexico: Oh, the Cultural Impact! The Gulf of Mexico, the glorious body of water that’s had the audacity to influence the cultures and economies of the regions surrounding it. From the indigenous peoples who had the nerve to use it for trade and transportation, to the European colonizers who couldn't resist establishing key settlements and trade routes, the Gulf has been a hotbed of cultural exchange.

Historical Significance? You Bet! Spanish explorers, with their impeccable sense of direction, used the Gulf as a route to the mainland, paving the way for the establishment of settlements that would make history books and cocktail party conversations for centuries. Because who doesn't want to hear about the latest escapades of explorers from 500 years ago, right?

Now, about my recent travel plans. You won't believe the fiasco! I had to cancel my #TakeATripAllByMyselfJustForMeTime plans thanks to the latest transportation calamities. Seriously, planes falling from the sky, trains turning into bonfires on tracks, and rockets exploding mid-air? It's like a disaster movie marathon, only nobody bothered to ask me if I wanted a front-row seat.

Let's not forget those fabulous $400 million armored vehicles. So robust that their windows shatter with a toy baseball and they can't even wade through a foot of water without needing a horse and carriage rescue mission. Talk about cutting-edge technology, am I right?

And oh, the world is on FIRE, and some people are busy juggling their own drama. The level of rage, resentment, and embarrassment is enough to fill a library. Picture this: abusing women all your life, only to end up paying millions for your actions, and then having the humiliating details of your inadequacies broadcasted for eternity in judicial records. A possible broken heart to find out your mail order, nude xxx rated [work of heart /I mean art/ her words] is not as ignorant we thought when she plagterized Michelle Obame's speech word for word]  [look at Melania's face when tRump tries to kiss her/when Govenor Newsome kisses her/when Trudeau is in her face,

Poetic justice or a never-ending soap opera? You decide.

Remember the days when adults made decisions with long-term consequences in mind, considering their families' future? Ah, nostalgia. Nowadays, it's all about the next headline or social media post. Imagine trying to take on Disney without realizing that Mickey and Minnie already had their strategy meetings about #ReedyCreek an 20 years after the last descendant of King James has passed away - now that is a clear [now around but STRAIGHT through the laws of perpetuity].

Oops, did I just run a few red lights with this post? My bad. But hey, some things just need to be said.

Music Guru

Me and music go a long way back.  As an almost teenager one day my mom asked me something to the effect of "...what hurt or pain have I had to want to listen to Billy Holiday?

My friend Gil asked me what is about music that I find so interesting?  I said it's the words or the music - when I hear it - it takes me places.  For example this song takes me the steps of a Brownstone in Harlem in the 70's - I've never been to Harlem in the seventies but if I did this is what it would look like to me through song.

INSERT 70'S  SONG

As that young, young teenager I listen to this over and over and wondered if I would ever have a love or someone love me in this manner.

First time I heard this - don't remember the year but I was tht girl...always paying for debt I NEVER owed...

to be continued...

John Q (2002) Official Trailer - Denzel Washington, Robert Duvall Movie HD

UHG - NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny told reporters that the words “delay,” “deny” and “depose” were scrawled on the ammunition, one word on each of three bullets. A law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity, previously told The Associated Press that the words scrawled on the ammunition were “deny,” “defend” and “depose. The messages mirror the phrase “delay, deny, defend,” which is commonly used by lawyers and critics about insurers that delay payments, deny claims and defend their actions. Medicaid - text messages show Favre at the center of a scandal dating back to 2020, when a political appointee of the governor and nonprofit head, among others, were arrested for misusing federal welfare funds, some of which benefitted Favre personally as well as causes with which he was involved. Between 2016 and 2018, the nonprofit Mississippi Community Education Center doled out $5 million—allegedly at Favre’s request—to the University of Southern Mississippi, where Favre attended and where his daughter also attended and played volleyball, to pay for a new volleyball court, according to Mississippi Today; the nonprofit also paid him $1.1 million to promote a program called Families First. The funds mostly came from a federal welfare grant program administered by the Mississippi Department of Human Services, and both the head of the nonprofit and the former head of the MDHS have been charged with and pleaded not guilty to embezzlement and fraud for their roles in the scheme. Prevacus, a pharmaceutical company that was working on a concussion treatment and which Favre was a top investor in, also allegedly received $2.15 million “in allegedly stolen funds” from the scheme, according to Mississippi Today. The Healthcare Scandal of All Time - Senator Scott - In 1987, Scott started Columbia, which was a hospital company (which later became Columbia/HCA). As the years passed, Scott added hospitals, centers for surgery, and other health locations to the HCA network. In 1997, an investigation was launched after records were seized that were indicative of Medicare and Medicaid fraud. Scott resigned shortly after the investigation started, but he couldn't escape it altogether. Prior to his resignation, several warrants were issued that granted the federal government permission to search hospitals that were owned by Columbia/HCA. The warrants also included hospitals previously owned by the company. As part of his resignation, Scott received $300 million in stock, $10 million in cash, and $5 million, which was quite the severance pay. It was found that Columbia/HCA billed services such as Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE for tests that physicians hadn't ordered. Scott's company also trumped diagnoses with fake ones to increase the hospital's reimbursement. They illegally claimed that advertising expenses were "community education." The company also billed the government on behalf of non-qualifying patients for healthcare visits at home. According to the Department of Justice, Columbia/HCA was ordered to pay $840 million in fines and penalties for its deceit.

Door Dasher CAUGHT in Fishing Expedition

This is a portrayal of a distressing encounter between young Black men and law enforcement. It vividly depicts a scene that emphasizes the intimidation and systemic oppression that often accompany interactions between marginalized communities and police officers. The use of language—phrases like “smell fake weed” and the derogatory commands like that for an untrained dog “stand here dog, come here dog”—highlight not only the dehumanization faced by the individuals in question but also the underlying prejudice that drives such confrontational policing tactics.

The summoning of canine commands serves as a metaphor for the power dynamics at play. In this hostile environment, the expression “angry - wild - abusive” encapsulates the palpable fear and rage that can erupt in response to persistent harassment and aggression from law enforcement agents. The narrative suggests that these young men are fully aware of the barriers they face, not only in terms of economic inequality but also regarding a justice system that seems rigged against them. The implicit recognition that they lack access to proper legal representation underscores the broader issue of unequal resources and support, further entrenching the cyclical nature of oppression.

Furthermore, the chaos depicted in the video triggers a reflection on social and racial inequalities inherent within the justice system. The sheer imbalance of power between the police and these young men creates a scenario where the former feel entitled to exert control using intimidation tactics. This scenario amplifies the frustration and disillusionment within affected communities, illuminating serious questions about the efficacy of policing practices and their philosophical foundations rooted in racial and socio-economic disparities. In light of such narratives, the call for reform and accountability within law enforcement agencies is not merely an academic discourse—it is a pressing societal demand driven by lived experiences of men labeled as “wild” and “refusing to comply,” yet stripped of their dignity and rights in the very moments meant to protect them.
